Hi everyone goodnight....happy new years....I have one question my sister has lupus sle as I mention before..it's been 3 weeks now she stop walking😔😔😔it's want know if there is any chance with her treatment in times will she be able to walk back???

What exactly is the problem with her not walking??? Has she seen her doctor?

Hi dear she has lupus sle...and yes she in the hospital right now but not walking

I hope they can help....maybe she is just too tired, Lupus can make you feel exhausted and you just want to sleep...hope she feels better soon

Let's hope for the best, is she getting attention of a rheumatologist? SLE shouldn't be the reason for not waking.

No dear we don't have a rheumatologist in guyana...they just have Dr monitoring her and treatment her..most of her treatment is steriod

I wanted to bring her overseas but I don't think can have that chance...we are very poor and the immigration won't give us a chance...I go and Come from nyc....but she don't have a visa...the immigration consultant required bank statement from the relative overseas etc...so am still hoping for the best for her she is only 22 years old and a mother of 2

When I was first diagnosed with SLE - 30 years ago - I could hardly walk as my leg joints were affected and were very painful. I can now do a 10 mile walk with no problems. It may take time but —Don’t lose heart and don’t give up.
