Flare Post pred??

Hie Everyone

I am just feeling down and seem to be having trouble with hot flushes at night , I have to sleep with a fan , anything I eat I end up feeling bloated or discomfort , feeling irritable and fatigued so much even just by resting I am super tired . My back and hips are so stiff n painful

I just completed a course of steroids and antibiotics for chest infection

I am taking Vit D , hydroxychloroquine twice daily , Naproxen for pain , omega 3 omeprazole

My rheumatologist promised to return my calls but two weeks running no progress

Gp got no clue thinks it's rheumatologist to review my symptoms n recommend treatment Plan

I had blood done in my last review in August

Rheumy sent me a steroid prescription in the post for low white blood cells n neutrophils treatment . She increased my hydrox to two days

I am trying to understand why . Meanwhile I have had multiple flares

I wonder if anyone how I can access my records and blood tests result for me to have a clear understanding of what is happening n what exactly they are treating for

Being able to access your results won't mean you have a clear understanding of what is going on if you don't have the training to interpret them. It isn't as simple as a blood test meaning x or y. It is a complex bigger picture - and even GPs don't get it sometimes.

Just ask to see them. I believe you have a right to do that, they're your records

I am sorry to hear that you are feeling unwell and are experiencing joint pain. Have you tried ringing the rheumatologist’s secretary for any updates or cancelations for an earlier appointment?
