Facial bleach

Hi everyone

About 3 months ago I was diagnosed with SLE.. I'm doing much better now. I used to bleach my face before but I was wondering if I could use facial bleach now after being diagnosed? Would it harm me in any way?

Have you discussed this with your doctor or rheumatologist?

By speaking to your doctor or rheumatologist about the use facial bleach, he/she may be able to refer you to a dermatologist who can advise you on the most appropriate types of cosmetics to use according to your skin. Exposure to certain chemicals can have the potential to trigger a flare in lupus, so it is often advised to be cautious when considering any products such as dyes.

What do you use facile bleach for??

I have some facial hairs that I used to use bleach before to lighten it.

It will depend on the person we all differ in how we flare and why we flare. You could try a very small patch test if the doctor gives his ok.
