I have yellow on the top of my mouth and bumps in the back of my throat? Any ideas as to what it may be?

Is it on your tongue too? 

Could be thrush especially if you're on immunocomp drugs

How big are the lumps @ back of throat?  Over the years I've tended to get quite large ball-like lumps, one on either side of the soft palate at the roof of my mouth just where it starts to head into my throat.  These lumps are, say, the size of a marble.  The GP gives me antibiotics fast when I get these...they are extremely sore - swallowing is agony.  No dr has ever given them a precise label, but they do go down ok in response to antibiotics.  I have all sorts of chronic oral symptoms...I think of them as being due to the combo of SLE + SS + EDH + primary immunodeficiency + what have you

In your shoes, I'd see a GP

My gp diagnosed thrush when lumps appeared back of my mouth and on my tongue some years ago, she prescribed drops that cleared it in no time. Cant recall what they were called but they tasted lovely and did the job. Thrush made me feel quite poorly so I was glad to get it treated. See your gp

Could be Tonsilitis.

Hi I get this a lot.Was with gp a few times a couple of months ago with other stuff and told him the dryness was setting worse each time he didn't seem to take much notice.I really feel sick with this and gag a lot.I got so bad I returned and told him to check my mouth and then he gave me Fluconazole.One course doesn't fix it for me so I asked for a repeat 2nd dose.I have had this before Plaqeunil so I can only blame the severe dryness.I have an appointment this week with rhuemy.I don't feel great  so rang his secretary.Chest tightness, stabbing sudden pain left side of chest on and off.Tingling and racing heart seem worse.Been to gp when this stabbing pain was very bad and he said it was the muscles behind my chest wall and take paracetemol.I think everything is flaring but my crp is low so he said not a flare.I will ask the rhuemy.I'm on 200 Plaquenil so will see what he says.
