Thanks, Misty...I am so pleased I managed a photo!  I love crochet..because it uses a "flat" hand it is easier than knitting, and I do very small amounts when I can.  I hope to be able to create enough to sell at a craft fair sometime to raise some money for Lupus UK, but at this rate, it might take a year!  With all the great talent here, your cards, beautiful drawings, maybe we should all club together and have one big bazaar!  Have a lovely day, everyone.  X

Well done MT...they're very pretty. I learned how to make squares and then onto blankets with the basic stitches....well done you!

Brilliant! I'm not good at crochet, but as my name suggests, I knit. The Occupational Therapist told me to keep going. I find cubic needles the most restful on my hands. I wish I could crochet like this though!

That's very pretty, I do a bit a crochet,  but not as good as yours.

Also been making felt teddies,  tiny pipe cleaner dolls, and learning to turn wooden bowls on a lathe.

My latest interest is growing vegetables in a wooden veg trug, so I don't have to bend down.

Starting with salad leaves, spring onions, carrots, rocket and broad beans.

I will spend the summer fighting off the slugs and snails. ☺

Did you notice the tiny teds and such in the bowl?  I buy those locally, as my young students love them...so there is your money spinner! Any  pics of them, Creaky? Xx

I can't see how to add a photo in a reply music teach, yes I did notice the tiny teds 😀

I will start a new post with picture, I might be having trouble as I'm using my phone, it's more comfortable. X

Gosh, I am so surprised at the positive feedback!  Thank you all. Xx I began crocheting when I was a little girl, taught by my Grannie. I always loved small so most of my projects are miniature..I even made a tiny pot, one inch across, for a tooth fairy pot!  I seriously wonder if we couldn't send our goods to any local Lupus forums when they are in our district and make some money for our superb support group?

I think most people who are in acting or opera companies learn some craft or other, as it is terminally boring sitting still and quiet while you wait your turn in rehearsal!  I knew one actress who had made fourteen latch hook rugs in her rehearsal periods.  Sad lot, we are.....!  Love to all. X

Wow they are so pretty. I'm just starting and self taught. Watching Bella Coco videos amongst others. Working on Star Wars figure at the moment for my son.

I don't follow any patterns, so self taught gives you loads of freedom, I find...once you have the basics, you can experiment like mad!   Good luck, helentad. X

What a good way of keeping hands exercised and the results of your labours look very pleasing too.

These are so beautiful, they do like porcelain!

I have knitted for over forty years and without that could not have survived !! I like plugging into an audio book and knitting away, it makes me forget all my aches and pains. I do find that Knit Pro metal cubics are the best needles so my hands dont get too sore.

I also have three different projects on the go of different needle sizes and swop work on them every half hour. I discovered by doing that I avoided tendon pain in my wrists which used to plague me.

Keep the crafts going everyone. X

I do the same, often swapping crochet hook sizes to keep fingers active! I am so thrilled with the feedback I have got! Am currently on an heirloom crochet cushion cover in finest cotton for my daughter's birthday in May.  Might just go blind in the interim! More pics required from our talented Lupies! X
