Iβm posting this for the Storm as she is very unwell at present and said she enjoys seeing crafts and other talents on this forum. Hoping this cheers you up Storm.ππ»
I was given skeins of home-spun wool by a friend a couple of years ago and after using some of it in a cushion I made for her I had no idea what to do with the rest. It is beautiful wool but very coarse and the yarn alternates from being very thin to very thick so quite difficult to keep an article square. As the round cushion had been a great success, where I alternated rounds of this wool with a very fluffy one, I decided to try making a round pot and then a bowl. They worked out not too baldy so I made another bowl to give my friend.
When hubby and I were recently in the Lakes for our wedding anniversary I couldnβt resist a squeaky Herdy toy for another friendβs grandson due any moment now. Heβs a cheeky wee sheep and had to check out the pot I crocheted. π
Iβve made another 2 smaller bowls since I took these photos and plan to fill them with cream eggs to give to friends at Easter. Unless anybody has another suggestion for their use?
Wishing the Storm well ππ» and best wishes to all reading this post. Hugs π€ππ
