Other ways to treat Anxiety

is there any other way to treat GAD with out the use of a antidepressant i have been given sertraline as my GAD is affecting my day to day life and relationships but i have been off them for more then a year and looking for other ways to cope

Hello

You could try Herbal medications , there are quiet a few if you were to go into a Herbal shop they would advise you as well as checking they would be safe for you to take

Mindfulness is very good , there is a website if you put in Mindfulness in Google you could have a look at that , shows you techniques on how to relax and get your thoughts in control

Any kind of therapy can be really beneficial if you spoke to your Doctor they could refer you for therapy :-)

Google 'Tapping for anxiety' - there are loads of YouTube videos up for this. Try it. It is the only thing that has kept me from taking medication.
