Like many of you with APS I am low in vitamin D3 and Vitamin B-12 as well as homocysteine. I am also suspicious of thyroid deficiency and am going to ask my new hemotologist if he will test me extensively. I will ask him to test TSH, FT4, FT3, TT4, Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies,Thyroglobulin Antibodies. Am I missing anything else that I should be asking him to test? Also, I am currently on prednisone for a Lupus flare and wondered if that will affect the testing? Thanks for any input.

If you are not satisfied with the tests, do some private ones also, if you look on Thyroid UK's website they have them all listed, and usually various deals on. Probably the Lupus flare will not make much difference. MaryF
I agree with Mary. Dave
A good starting point and the Antibodies are a must. Make sure you get a copy of the results as in the UK we have a very incorrect TSH threshold.
If these test show up anything before starting treatment a DI02 Gene Test to ensure you can convert T4 to T3 is a must and Reverse T3
