After I had Dahl last night I wanted a curry tonight so I cooked some onions sliced peppers in olive oil to soften then I added some stock made with a desert spoon of gram flour in a little cold water mixed to a paste before adding more cold water the curry spices including ginger and black pepper with some frozen veggies and the cooked lentils, all cooked very gently on my stove.
Enjoy the rest of your day folks and stay safe and well. 😊
Looks good very healthy but black rice that's amazing where is this from, I don't fry in olive oil the chef's say it burns and it's higher in saturated fat you should try the cold pressed rapeseed oil I mentioned before its the only oil that doesn't saturate at high temperatures and mam bakes with it we wouldn't be able to have pastry cakes or crumble without this oil with us watching our cholestrol but the legumes you eat do get inflammation down in the body which causes so many things to go wrong veins cutting up leading to heart attacks we don't eat enough of them I'm building my immune up to help fight the virus incase I get it 🍊🥕🍎

Thanks Hidden your mum is quite right and the secret is to keep the heat low with olive oil and I wouldn’t use it for deep frying.
Black rice is full of antioxidants and has more nutritional value than white rice, it originated in China and used to be called forbidden rice as only the emperor of China was allowed to eat it. I like cooking it with white or wild rice as it looks red!
My cholesterol levels are low and well within limits and my Dr said he’d not seen anyone with such healthy levels but my body doesn’t absorb fat well. 😊
Oh yummy Jerry, that really looks delicious and what fabulous ingredients.

I hope you've had a good day, it's been grey and dank here albeit it's starting to brighten up now as tomorrow's supposed to be quite nice here then Wednesday, let's just forget that forecast
