Hello I'm new too. Hoping to get some ideas on healthier meals that I don't get bored of!
Hi. I joined slimming world online cos live out in the sticks but find it good I still weigh in every week and they have lots and lots of ideas for meals from plain and simple salads to curries and pasta dishes. Foods have different classifications and I just spent a little time learning about the foods I like and then choose meals that fit in to that programme, there is also an online planner where you can check which category you can fit a favourite food into or something new you want to try, also gives values of various eating out meals.
Like most others I have bad weeks/days, and has taken me since about last July but am now down to 10st.8lbs from 13st.2lbs. am 5'3" so needed to lose. You will find lots of good ideas and help and support on here too I have seen some great ideas on here.
Good luck and let us know how you are getting on Incidentally if you do have a bad day or two, dont beat yourself up, its not the end of the world and with bit of determination you soon undo any damage which spurs you on then to get to your goal. I have a stone to go so hope I can now stick to it and then maintain

I have tried everything there is out there slimming world weight watchers juice plus Cambridge diet slim fast nothing seems to work for me so now I’ve got to the point where I’ve been giving oral stat from my gp and I’ve downloaded an app called nutra check a calorie counter it’s calculates my calories and fat etc as I can only have 15gs fat a day or serious consequences on the medication I’m at my wits end cus if I get any bigger them I’m guna end up with saggy skin which will then Lead to surgery which I don’t want to Happen well done on your weight loss journey that’s amazing slimming world is good for meal ideas I love there own spag Bol it’s amazing 😍 good luck x
Hello Kayleigh, welcome to the community we cater for all diets and the secret is to eat well with plenty of exercise. Once you have achieved your goal you can enjoy a good sense of well being.
To lose weight your body needs to be well nourished so if you make healthy choices you will find you can cut down on food and increase your exercise and do it gradually one meal and one day at a time.
