Have joined this evening after another disappointing session at slimming world. It was all great when I started 12 months ago, I lost 2 and a half stone in 7 months, had 8 pounds to get to target and hit a wall. Last few months have seen small losses, followed by maintains and then gains no matter how hard I work at it. Time to try a a healthier way to lose the rest of the weight that is more realistic and will be an easier lifestyle to follow and maintain. Look forward to chatting with you all and hope that I can also help motivate others also xx

Has your doctor suggested that you go on a low carb high fat or low carb high protein diet?

Good Evening,

I’ve struggled with my weight since I was in my 20s due to crappy thyroid and now that I don’t have one the only thing that works for me is resistance training (HIIT) every other day (3 to 4 times a week...I don’t kill my self) and my diet!!! I have cut ALL gluten, dairy and processed food out of my diet!! I’m in the military so I am pretty regiment with my routine and I don’t cheat. You might think this is pretty boring but the results are crazy. But, I can eat all the fruits, veggies and meat I want! Oh and low low sodium and lots of water. You will begin to have more energy and look amazing! Less tied too!

I say try it for one month, you’ll start to see results after the 2nd week!! Try not to cheat. :) Feb is a good month to try, no special holidays. :)

Good luck!!
