Hi all I'm new im following the sw plan have lost 4 stone so far still have another 2.5 to go

Had a baby 10 months ago

Started running a few months ago and using the gym

Want to get fitter and smaller :)

I am from the US and not familiar with what a stone is compared to a pound. What is the sw plan? Congratulations on your baby how exciting!

Hi Wittycjt, sw is slimming world and a stone is 14 pounds :D

Hi Jo, congratulations on your new baby and your amazing weight loss, I'm starting s/w (again!) this week, I'm keen to start running, was thinking of doing the couch to 5k, any running tips plse? Tia x

I started off walk/run I run one lamppost and walked one then upped it to 2 then to 3 until I was able to just run run 🏃 I also joined a beginners running group they helped loads to :) good luck

Hi Tia, I started running using the C25K app it really does work, had to repeat some weeks but would definitely recommend. There is a Facebook page that you can ask to join where lots of support and tips from everyone. One tip I would give is if you do enjoy running then go to a specialist running shop and get trainers there, really does keep injuries down. Happy running 🏃🏻 Jen x
