Here's what I made for dinner tonight, its a stew with mixed organic beans with onion tomato spinach broccoli a few chunks of potato and some frozen mixed veg. I seasoned it with a little low salt bouillon turmeric and black pepper.
The dumplings recipe: 170g self raising gluten free flour 1 tea spoon baking powder 2 eggs sage a little chilli celery salt, then whizzed it up into a dough and shaped into 8 dumplings and put on the stew and left to cook merrily away.
Its been overcast and grey with rain most of the afternoon so stew with dumplings is perfect this time of year.

An excellent pot of good heartwarming stew Jerry, what lovely ingredients. I really must use the beans I have in my cupboard, I keep using chickpeas.

Hi Jerry that looks like enough for a big family, I hope you didn't upset your tummy eating all that 😁lol, we will try that dumpling reipie as it can't be worst than the oil one 😁, as we loved out veg suet ones,yours looks amazing to be honest like all your cooking, and I'm sure if you were our nebour pixie would turn vegetarian and be sneaking in and guarding your oven like he does ours lol 🐆🙀and as you can tell I am feeling a bit better had 5 hours sleep,and if I stop cracking the odd funny then that is when you need to worry, and I feel hungry for this meal and it's only 5.2o, I'll be posting today have a nice day, it's raining here but I'm cosy with pixie and he's quiet now so shuuuuu 🌟

Hey I only had 2 dumplings so have plenty for tonight and some to freeze as I couldn’t eat 8 dumplings LOL.Pixie would be a welcome visitor if you were my neighbours...😸

Thanks Jerry just very briefly I will message my niece today and take it from there, my lifelong friend messaged me last night as I was drifting off then I ended up on here not long just to check mail and I deleted the message I sent but Alicia saw it and I'm glad as that helped to as I do chat to her regular, and she had a off day too and does same as me to help herself, have a good day I'll get off here and get cuppa tea etc and so here we are another day, I've also got the elec fire so not too bad take care 😁🌈🐆🌟

Oh thanks just that I know you get busy, I know I'm sensitive, and your sinus thing, pixies asleep so I think I'll get back and maby have snooze tryner charge phone but been chatting on here as per usual lol 😁🌈🌟
