Hi everyone, here's what I made for dinner tonight its a goulash made with quinoa red lentils chestnut mushrooms onion garlic spinach carrots peas a tin of tomatoes ginger black pepper chilli chives with some stock made with low salt bouillon.
I cook the onions mushrooms garlic in a little olive oil to soften then I add a little gram flour to thicken add tomatoes other veg and stock plus herbs and spices and leave to simmer gently.
This is gluten free plant based and perfect this wintry weather. π
Hi Ali, thank you for that and there's plenty left. This is my favourite pan for cooking meals like this with as it's a 25cm pan with straight sides like a saucepan and 75mm deep so I can lightly fry some onions garlic and mushrooms then add everything else and leave it to simmer with it's lid on.
The slow cooker is great if I want to be busy else where, I have to work out cooking times so I don't end up setting the alarm to have dinner at midnight...π
