In the poll zube-UK said about making burgers with mung beans onions and peppers so I knew what I was going to cook but I used some black beluga lentils and blended them with some diced onion and baby plum tomatoes thickened with chick pea flour as it's a really good binder. I then rolled them into rounds and flattened them on a floured board with more chick pea flour.
I had them with lightly cooked mushrooms salad and new potatoes. You can see by the colour the outside of the burgers has gone how good chick pea flour is as an egg replacer, so this is plant based gluten free and wholesome.
Hi zube-UK thank you and I'm glad you like adaption as they were so easy to make I season with pepper herbs spices like ginger and I added a little dried chilli. I'm sure that any chick pea would make a great burger.
I'll try some tomato puree and nutmeg so thanks for that tip. π
