Can anyone advise. Blood test showed my vit d level in October as 72.5 nmol/l is this low? It doesn't flag as abnormal.
The more attached says optimum levels seen in autumn. It also says replete?
Can anyone tell me what this means please?

Hi Karen
72.5 nmol/l is not low. According to the link below anything >50 nmol/l is adequate although I have seen figures c. 80/90 nmol/l being branded as optimal:

Optimum means favourable and replete means ‘we’ll supplied’ which indicates that the most favourable levels are seen in the autumn.
Hope this helps
I used to take vitd tabs because I was told my levels were low. However I later found out two things. Firstly low vitd is a sign that your body is not operating at peak health, not a proven cause. Secondly those who take vitd tabs do not get better health outcomes in the long term.
Now i don't take vitd, i don't worry and just ensure i can get good sunshine daily if possible. Oh, and I try to keep my body in great health.
