Today I've had:
Breakfast: Porridge (30g) with nuts, fruit and seeds and full-fat milk - 493 calories.
Lunch: Freshly made Tomato soup with bread and butter (out in a cafe) - 287 calories.
Afternoon snack: Maple & Pecan Plait with coffee and milk - 386 calories.
Dinner: Homemade Lamb Tagine and Couscous - 620 calories.
After dinner: 38g dark chocolate and coffee with milk. - 210 calories.
With extra teas and coffees, my total calories for today = 2,136.
(N.B. I regret choosing the Maple Pecan Plait, and hope to not have any more this month, because it was 380 calories and 23.7g saturated fat, and I prefer my homemade fruited seeded banana cake - so will make sure I have that instead. I also regret eating so much dark chocolate - I am going to stick to 4 small pieces (25g) rather than 6 small pieces (38g)...
I love raspberries - so decided to decorate my couscous with one... I know that's probably a bit strange as a garnish, but I liked it. Made me smile.
I am also posting a photo I took on the weekend, of the lovely blue sky - and I hope to see that Blue Sky again soon. It was quite grey today... but hopefully those blue skies will be more frequent very soon.
