Good morning everyone, well I almost feel trapped in my house as we are in a state of emergency where I live. However I'd rather be trapped in my home than stuck on the roads.
So this morning I had some porridge (internal central heating) I don't eat oats so used rice flakes which I soaked overnight with sultanas and chia seeds and then heated it up this morning and added the fresh fruit. I don't add sugar to porridge as the fruit makes it sweet enough for me.
Have a great day everyone and stay warm and safe.π
Good morning and thank you, I use rice flakes and pudding rice a lot as I can't tolerate oat gluten and I love rice puddings especially when the weathers cold.
I'm lucky as we don't have power cuts my internet is still buzzing the heatings on and theres a snow drift outside my front door as I live on an exposed hill and the wind is buffeting my house, its what happens when all this snow melts as that going to cause more issues.
You stay safe and warm too.π
looks nice Jerry,
why you traped at home? is it snowing again.
i spoke to my sister in London last night and she said it was minus 3 degrees Celsius...

Hi happy cook, we have a red warning in parts of the West Country until later today and then there is freezing rain forecast, which means it rains and as soon as it lands it freezes. And here the windchill is making it feel -16C. So I'm staying put...π
