I'm new to this site

I would like to follow a healthy diet plan, I have recently bought a Morphy Richards Soup Maker, does anyone have any good recipes that I can use.

Hi Patty006,

Welcome to the Healthy Eating forum. Great that you've got a lovely soup maker - I bet that will make it much easier.

Have you seen the Change4life website, as it has some recipes there that you might like - there's a Chicken and Vegetable soup here:

Butternut squah and Roast red pepper

Chop butternut squash up with skin on and roast it with 2 x red peppers halved with skin on for 25 mins. When ready peel skin off peppers if you want and place squash and red peppers in a pan with chicken stock

My soup maker is one of my best friends (also have a slow cooker). My soups might be called 'anything goes'. I start by chopping up an onion or two, then there are usually carrots to give a nice hearty colour then 'anything goes' which means any other veg I have to hand, even the tired looking stuff that might be soon-for-the-bin. Add whatever seasoning you prefer, then whatever flavouring or spicy taste you prefer. Top up to the line with water. Hey Presto. Never quite the same twice, but always delicious.
