Finding joy

Does anyone ever wonder if they will ever find joy again? I have a loving, amazing family but since the anxiety and depression that has resulted from the ptsd has come into my life a few years ago, I find no joy in anything and most days feel like I am going through the motions. My therapist tells me to find a passion...cooking, exercising, etc. I have a new grandchild in another state and am not even as excited about that as I thought I would be. Thanks,..

I hope you can find joy wherever you can.

Even though the moment doesn’t feel different if you can make yourself do something joyful, fun you may be able to lift yourself out or move through the moment.

Drawing, singing, pulling weeds, teaching yourself a language, watching dog videos whatever your interests do one of them today.

Take the first step.

Take care.
