Thank you, I've learnt that it doesn't effect me, thank goodness but I am still concerned about council tax changing.

It's still not easy to understand why they are robbing us like this.

I used the online calculator and it shows I should pay £3.18 pm, the CT bill I have is asking for 1x £21.19 and 9x £19.00

Can't get through to the council at all by phone, what a fkin shambles.

Maybe it's an idea to set out your complaint in a letter and keep a copy.

As you mentioned in another thread, don't pay them until you're sure their calculation is accurate.

I guess we can't blame the poor s*ds who work for the council - they're at the sharp end and have to deal with all the complaints, while the real culprits are miles away arranging redecoration of their second homes!
