Have you searched the internet for websites that may help you? You might do a search for "filing my pip appeal" or something like that? I'm in the US so can't really help with that but perhaps someone else can. If I were in your situation, though, I would rather pay somebody locally than pay for a service online.

I agree with you Bananas5, Benefit and work is the best place for information and I have gladly paid for using it because there is information about everything you need and more besides. well worth a try. 👍

If you contact our forum benefits advisor, she can provide information to help you fill in your PIP form, and she also has access to information from the Benefits and Work website, which she will be able to give you. Good luck x

I used Benefit and Works guides and I found them excellent. It helped me when I had to support my husband when he had to go to tribunal sure we wouldn't have won without the guidance. Good luck.x

Thank you for the replies, my question was in relation to a few online sites I had found that required either a monthly or yearly fee, one I saw included going with you to the tribunals etc, I couldn’t decide if it was a good idea or not since were already on the breadline after having all the payments stopped at the same time. I think it might be worth talking to someone but because I’ve been so ill I only have a few days left to submit the appeal online ;(

Hi

If it is mandatory reconsideration you may be best to go to your local CAB as they are well trained to give you the relevant support.

Another site Rethink.org -find Factsheet - Personal independence payment (PIP). From around page 12 they go into all of the PIP criteria giving you the wording needed where you would gain your points.

If you are struggling to meet the deadline ring the DWP advise of your difficulties and ask for an extension in time. Not sure if they will do this on a MR but worth a try and take the name of who you are speaking to and note the date as they don't always document the changes. This happened to me on my PIP review I rang just to check my extension had been noted and there was no mention on my file!! So asked again for an extension of time.

Hope this helps.

It’s the actual court appeal not the mc, that was refused within 48 hours of me sending them 100 pages of medical evidence... which they ignored and used the falsified report from Atos!

I would be wary about spending money for something like that. Citizens Advice would be a better choice I think. If they can't help you, they should be able to refer you to someone reliable to check your application.

I used Fightback4Justice they won my DLA appeal initially and completed my PIP forms when I had to go over from the DLA. Worth every penny in my opinion. Good luck x

I’ll contact them on Monday and see if they can help the deadline is near the end of the week so I really don’t have much time left at all, but I’ve got it pretty much put together could just do with a professional pair of eyes to check it through and maybe someone for the court thing because I have to have someone with me due to mobility and once I’m there I know I’ll fall to pieces. Thanks for everyone’s help and advice fingers crossed for a good outcome, I’ve had enough bad luck this year to last a lifetime ;(

I have used and am using now for my Mandatory Reconsideration. Is fightback4justice@live.co. They are a non profit making business. They will do all your paperwork and will advocate for you. As well as cover you at tribunal stage. I think 3 are trained lawyers. I would not have any benefits if it wasn't for them.

Thanks everyone, the appeal has been submitted. Now we wait for the fight, I will not give in. I’ve made a formal complaint against the Atos staff member and got all my previous medical reports now as evidence. It’s exhausing when you have a life kids and health conditions to deal with on top but it’s essential... If we all keep on fighting they might just have to change their practices :)
