support group in edinburgh area

does anyone know of a support group in or around the edinburgh area i could attend.. i am desperate to meet up with people who understand.. i dont get out much but would love to get out and about as i feel i am worthless sitting around in doors all the time... many thanks diane x

Hi Diane -- I used to go to a Support group that met at St. John's Hospital in Livingston about 5 years ago. Sadly my husband started a new job so we had to move away. I am not sure if this group still meets but maybe you could either phone the hospital or the Edinburgh Fibromyalgia support network on 0844 887 2380 to get details. I have considered a group too, but with working I don't have the energy or endurance to do anything in the evening or weekends. I do run a couple of websites though with chats etc. and I'd be happy to set up a chatroom that people here can use?
