What a great name! Perhaps you should stay with the royal theme and go for Liz, Kate, Eugenie etc x

Henrietta, eglantine, c-lucky, and Freya ( the layer)

Sorry best hen themed names I can manage this time of the morning

Hope you have great fun with them

Love the name of the hen house! Like Charli, I love the name Freya, too. Henny Penny from a reading book we had at infant school. Can't remember what it was called but she and Turkey Lurky were worried that the sky was falling in. Anyone rememebr what the book was called?!

Have fun thinking of names and enjoy them.

Keep warm.

Love and hugs Saskia. XX

The book was called chicken licken and the sky falling in.... One of my favourites in a big book of fairy tales I had

My chickens were called GLADYS, MATILDA, MABEL & AGNES .... I love old fashioned names for chickens, I think it suits them so well, especially when the wind blows their top feathers up & it looks like they are showing their petticoats or frilly knickers :)

I think that's a fab name you have chosen for the house.

Sadly, I had to give my hens up when I was put on my specialist medication for my arthritis, because it lowers my immune system & although my hens & house was always clean, the slight risk of salmonella was just to high for me :(

Enjoy your chickens, they will give you so much enjoyment, on a summers evening I used to love to watch mine scratching around the garden & they really do have their own individual personalities
