Hi,

Hope you get an answer soon. I've been wondering this myself for some time. But I've also been wondering about other members too. As there are some I haven't seen in a while.

((( Soft Hugs ))) xxxx

As is the nature of forums people come and go never to return and some pop up again after months away... I am afraid I have no idea I only know people here by their forum names, do you remember that???

Hi VG :)

I think it was something like:

'ChristineEls' I think she was a volunteer, and I think she had the Fibroaction symbol for her pic. I remember her from a while back. Haven't seen her in ages though. :(

Ahhh might have been before I spent so much ??? Too much time here??? I don't remember her sorry.....

Hi fairytails, it has been a while since I've been on here also, I remember ChristineEls, there was a lot going on then between the FA team and some other members and I don't think Christine was too happy about it, so she left with some other members, one off them was a very funny lady, her later blogs had a lot of carrot cake references in them!! used to love reading her blogs, her first initial was a D, fibrofog can't remember her name!!

Hi to you both, :)

I remember her. And it really upset me when she left:

'Diddle' was her name. She had a real passion for life I found.

Thankyou for the update. It makes sense now. I'm sad right now because this seems to be happening again: Pinkpig and LibertyZ are no longer members of the forum. What keeps happening behind the scenes?

It's just the nature of all forums , they evolve and people come and go all the time, there are not many forums like this that is so easy to navigate and has so many active people on all the time....when I had a cancer scare I was on a cancer forum, then I joined an ibs one, now that's settled here is my virtual home,

What happened to Pink Pig and Libby? They'd been on here for ages! Surely they can't have just upped and left - anyone know the full story?

It's a bit disconcerting when people just disappear! :( xx

About HelpUs: Hehe I know. :D Much as I tried I just got more and more confused! :O

I know. :( it was awful. I wouldn't want to go into detail because I think it's partially involved with a few members on here. But basically, they couldn't cope with the number of posts etc they had to deal with as admin users. It was impacting on their health so they left - why they didn't just resign from admin is a shame. Pinkpig said they felt like they didn't matter (far from true, we just weren't aware) and posted a blog saying her and Libby were leaving. I checked and that's the case. Neither have been members since. :'( xx

in reply toSootyB

Libby left she was not in the best of health at all and all the admin duties were too stressful for her with her health and PP didnt want to stay on as admin on her own so they both left :( it is a shame they didnt just remain on the forum as fay says, but perhaps when they both feel better they will return

Well, both, I can't pretend I'm not sorry to see them go - they were lovely ladies with some great advice - but I guess, if it was impacting on their health, then they've made the right decision. Hopefully, they'll come back as just members, when the time is right.

If you guys are interested it was something like HELPUS - a forum for people with chronic illness. I tried it, however found it really difficult and confusing to use.

I found that, too - I couldn't even work out how to post a reply, let alone start a topic! :D xx

They left and have started another forum

Hi annemcc,

Diddle always made me smile too and I still miss her deeply. (I think she might even be still a member, however, has just stopped logging on.) I think she's on a forum called HelpUs :)

helpus.forumotion.co.uk/

The link should take you there. Last time I looked lots of former members of this forum has since moved there. But I must inform you I found it is impossible to use - complicated. But please let me know if you can get it work. :)
