Hello everyone - i'm going for my appointment with an OT tomorrow to see if i'm entitled to a Blue Badge - i've been refused DLA so probably no chance of getting this either - so just wondering if any of you lovely people could give me any tips? I'm suffering with Fibro and Rheumatoid Arthritis xx Thanks and anything will help

Hi Sarah-Jane, I have a meeting with an Occupational Therapist tmoz applying for my disabled badge and not sure what to expect- just wanted some tips and advice really from someone who has been to apply for one xx

when i applied i just filled in the form at that time i was only diagnosed with osteoarthritis and not fibro. the fibro was not diagnosed till about 3/4 months ago and the osteoarthritis about 6/7 months ago. i completed the form and sent it off and was accepted without seeing anyone first.

Hi, I've had a blue badge for several years but nit DLA - applied once but got so worn down by process I gave up. When I applied for renewal a year or so ago they wrote to my GP to check I was telling the truth and then renewed it so give it a go x

Hello there Lisa, have you considering appealing against the decision to refuse your DLA claim? There is lots of advice on this process here in our forum?! Please ask if you are unsure about anything. Always happy to help.
