Hello everyone.

I'm new here. I have fibro and CFS. Also had a quintuple heart bypass 2 years ago. I live in st Mawes Cornwall so would like to hear from anyone who lives nearby, as well as anyone else of course!!

I'm originally from Yorkshire so have been to parts of Nottingham sometimes. I really wanted to be near the sea and the art scene so moved here.

Hi Charles I am new too, unfortunatley I live in Scotland so thats no good for you however I have found joining the site has made me realise I am not alone and can get and give support to our fellow sufferers .I also thought I may end up in the nuthouse Flips lol luckly there was one on the out skirts of our village however it has shut its doors so I walk around the grounds with my dog instead of booking myself in, thats when I have the energy to do so. I agree Charles it would be nice to have someone in the same area to share things with .x

Hi Sparkie. Thanks for your message and welcome. Scotland is a lovely place also. We did consider moving to the Hebrides a while ago but decided to stay here in Cornwall.

Most mental health hospitals are closed now. I worked in mental health for over 20 years but had to leave when I became ill.

hi charles i live in wiltshire which isnt much help really but as everyone else states this site is so important to us all as we know were not alone i have laughed, cried,felt sorry for myself and every emotion you could imagine and i now no i have friends on this site who will support you through everything i hope you find this site as supportive as i have it would be good if 1 day we could all meet up one day and get to no each other personally

Hello Charles and a rather late welcome to the sight, I too have Fibro and M.E..along with cervical spondylosis and other conditions, but I just pace myself and live day to day I have 2 lovely westies who love their walks which I have had to reduce recently due to exhaustion,

Hello Everyone. Sorry I haven't managed to answer all the welcome messages I received from everyone, I've not been well so haven't visited the site much.

I had my incapacity benefit stopped and so have had added stress trying to make the money stretch. Anyway, I'll hopefully be visiting here more often now.
