Christmas Presents.... The useful ... The useless ... And the unexpected..

Ok lets be cheerful... So did anyone else get any presents like the ones I got

THE USEFUL..... A pair of gloves for wearing on my mobilty scooter they have a cunning battery pouch and all the fingers and hand warm up to keep my hands warm and toasty

THE USELESS

A onsie, the right size.. 14.... But I think designed for a gorilla... The body is too short if I zip it up fully it cuts me in half... The arms are too long and my feet end before the feet even start so I walk like Neil Armstrong on the moon to stop tripping over them.

THE UNEXPECTED

Harry potter and the philosophers stone book ..... IN LATIN... I think when my flare is over I will have fun with it ....

Anyone else get anything they would like to share....?

I lIke it - so here goes:

THE UNEXPECTED - All my presents were unexpected this year - as I told everyone I wasn't bothering with Christmas! The most unexpected were a beautiful pashmina from someone I've never met (a friend of my son's) and a gift from my soon-to-be-ex husband - that really WAS a surprise.

THE USEFUL - a gift voucher, can be used in a large number of high st shops or online

THE USELESS - Hmm, really struggling here, as I got so few this year (most people listened to me!) I guess I would have to say the calendar which is a page-a-day type, in a block, that has a stand, but the stand doesn't work! But the calendar is still OK, although it has pictures of chocolate on every page, so will destroy any hope of weight loss - Lol!

Anyone else....?

Useful: My sister bought me a battery charger - I really needed one :)

Useless: A mug - I don't drink tea, coffee etc. Its a large ugly mug and its identical to one I got last year so now I have two of them! *sigh*

Unexpected: My sister coming down and staying 5 miles away so able to easily go and visit on Christmas day :)

Useful £20 from a friend

Useless replica cd from my hubby.....but it has been returned and he is getting a replacement from a list I sent him.

Unexpected. Hubby saying he would like all the grandchildren over for his birthday on 6/1 we are doing a proper party with finger foods etc. But never thought he would want that for his birthday......utterly astounded and delighted!

Well I must admit I can honestly say I've NEVER had a pressie I didn't like or want but this year -

USEFUL - James Patterson books....my very favourite author

UNEXPECTED - a Pedipro for getting the thick dry skin from my feet....and believe me it'll wear out before all the skin is removed!

USELESS - the cork from the Bucks Fizz bottle, too big to get back in the bottle, so like Gins I'm still in the process of finishing it off!!!

Happy New Year lovelies!!! XXXXXX

Oh I like this post too.

Useful, I got one of those mini Dyson hoovers, the ones that are rechargeable. Its so light I have actually been able to hoover my bedroom. Lol it does normally get done but by my daughter lol

Unexpected. My lovely friend got me this lush padded footstool that has storage under it, where she had hidden 2 books and some sucker sweets for my dry mouth.

I also got one of those massaging foot things, its lush.

Useless.......I cant remember any useless ones, going to have a think and might have to repost.

Happy new Year to you all x
