anyone had there pack yet??

i was wondering whether anyone was also taking part in the kings college thingy! i said yes and thet are supposed to be sending stuff for dna and bloods to be taken .......or was it a dream? !!! lol!

yes I had mine on Monday, and going for the blood tests tomorrow, so no hun you were not dreaming, I know of several people who have had theirs now,

I did the thing but I am not even sure if my surgery will allow, they are not keen on bloods being taken for anything outside of the practice, but if I get it I will try xxxxx

Hi jayjay57 -- it's a research study on FM that are looking for volunteers-- if you are interested in taking part (I have just registered myself) -- you just need to fill in a pain questionaire and give a blood sample -- details are found at :---

I have a doctors appointment on the 3rd so I'm hoping my pack comes before that so I can show him and my next thyroid blood test is due not long after that so hopefully I can get all the blood tests done in one go.

HI, I've just tried to register but the form isn't sending. Any ideas? Or is it me?

Hi fibropixie -- I found the questionnaire on-line too complicated -- so instead I phoned them up (tel : [phone]) -- and they are sending me a paper copy along with the blood sample tubes. So maybe if you are having problems registering then you could maybe do it over the telephone. good luck!
