Just wondering if anyone has had their pip reviews yet? And when did you put in for it?
Mine was put in for review in April this year and still nothing. I'm hoping for higher rates as my condition has worsened and I was only on standard rate. They have extended it to Nov 2025 they said whilst the reviews are being done!!
Has anyone had theirs back yet? Or does anyone know how far behind they actually are?
Thanks ☺️
Donna

Hi Birdgal, they are approx 52 weeks behind, they are prioritising new claims. My award was due in June 2024, i was sent forms in December and returned them in January. I received a letter straight away saying award was extended for 12 months whilst they process.
They are not necessarily doing reviews in date order either , my friend returned her in April and should have a review assessment yesterday but there was phone line fault so has been rebooked for early Nov, where as i still have heard anything. Just need to ready on standby so to speak, very stressful. Good luck
Hi my is the same review June 2025 and normally get in touch with me to have my review about 4 months into my final year but nothing yet I'm gonna wait and if I don't get my review forms by Jan I'm gonna get my carer to call them to find out what is going on. I have had it in the back of my mind that they may be holding on until the goverment decided what they are doing about tge reform of the benefits as well as tge back log but last time my reward was extended for one year and then given for 5 year so hoping they will stop this nonsense this tome and just do it on going cause my health issue have no cure
Hi Donna. I received a letter saying that they have extended my pip review until November 2025. It was due in February 2024. This is the third time in three years that it has been extended. Not that i am complaining.
Hi all, when filling in the review forms has anyone put "No change" and actually been given it again ? ....some people say to write No change and others say you have to complete it like it's the original form. Just interested to see if anyone 8had Thier award given just by putting No change . Obviously if there has been no change why would you need to explain everything yet again ???
Hi I was due a review last August sent the form back didn't hear anything until June this year & they just sent me a letter saying they awarded me the same payment for another 3 years without even having a review over the phone
hi BirdGal my award finishes in January 25 they sent me the review forms June 24 I retire in December 24 I have received 3 texts from them saying they are looking at my review forms and they would be in touch when they have made a decision or if they want any more information since sending in my review forms my medication has changed and I also have mild osteoarthritis in one of my hips in addition to my other ailments I don’t know if I should wait until I get my decision before I tell them or tell them now which might delay my award it doesn’t stop the worry and stress because they extend awards for a year while they concentrate on new claims the whole system is a shambles sorry to ramble on I hope you hear something soon
wow extended another year!!! I put mine in about a month ago and like u my condition has worsened that much I rarely leave the house really just for appointments.
Hi BirdGal , if your condition has worsened, you can let the DeptW&P know by phone, and then they usually ask you to put the reasons you feel your condition is worsening and how you’re struggling to cope with your disability in writing, then I think if they think your condition and symptoms need an earlier review, that’s what happens.
I have been waiting for over a year now for my pip evaluation and have now been told to go for an appointment with their Dr next month. I have been before but that was years ago so now I'm not sure what to expect. I have had different illnesses all my life and now I am going along with my fibromiagia and osteoarthritis in my knees but don't know what to expect.
