Unwell Feeling!: I constantly feel... - Fibromyalgia Acti...
Unwell Feeling!
It could be a mixture of fibro and side effects of your meds. If you are at all worried, go and have a chat with your doctor.

me too, haven't felt well for 8 months, docs do more tests, now waiting for scan result, thinking of you take care xxx
Hope you feel better really soon too Julie, it can be quite a trial sometimes can't it. Take care. All the best for your scan result. xx
I am so sorry you feel so poorly Myrtil! It could well be Fibro related, but just to make sure as Piggy says, it would be a good idea to pop along to see your GP. This way you would know for sure and it would rule anything else out. This would also ensure you receive the right treatment to help you feel better.
Take care, please let us know how you get on. Here's a hug (((hug))) xx
Hi Myrtil, sorry you are feeling so unwell, it could be the fibro, this cold weather doesn't help much, but there are also a lot of nasty viruses around. It is best to see your GP. If you are under the weather you might need a blood test to rule out anything like anemia. (We all hate them but they are soon over and done with) I hope you feel better soon. There is nothing worse than feeling constant malaise.

Is this fibro i got?..hmm..(thinking)..always feel worse at night.not so much the pain .just tingling sensation.feeling sore like someones hitting a nerve.no other way 2 describe it hot then cold...NO sleep...:-(..seeing the doc on wed..xxx
Hello Myrtil, it wouldn't be responsible for us to say yes you have Fibromyalgia as frankly we doh't know. However your symptoms have the sensations many of us experience with Fibro, in fact I couldn't have described it better. However, there are other conditions too and it would be unwise to say one way or the other, it isn't really as cut and dried as just saying Fibro, you may have other underlying symptoms that relate to something else. That's why it's best to see your GP, possibly get a referral so you are on your way to a firm diagnosis.
It sounds like you need better pain relief in the mean time and hopefully your GP will sort this out for you so you manage your pain better.
The cold weather tends to exacerbate pain with any condition whether Fibro, Arthritis, Rheumatism and many others. It always feels worse when we're cold, so try to keep as warm as you can as this will really help you. I find wearing looser clothing helps too, it's easier to layer up and keep warm and I don't feel so much pain this way.
Feeling worse at night tends to be quite common again with many conditions, it seems when we are still and not moving around it tends to kick off our nerves etc and that's when the pain starts and the restlessness. You can be helped with this through your GP, again with medication.
I understand what you are saying about not pumping your body full of tablets etc., but sometimes when we have something like Fibro, Arthritis etc., we need that bit of extra help and it is no detriment to us to admit this. If it helps us manage better and to lead a better quality of life, also to reduce our pain, it's really advisable to take something, there is only so much we can manage on our own.
I hope you get some answers soon Myrtil and the correct treatment too. Please let us know how you get on.
Wishing you all the very best, we are here for you and we care about you too! (((hug))) xx
Thank you, very much appreciated xx
