  • Hello my lovely

What great news 😊  Finally being listened to and being taken seriously is a massive step forward. Good for you!

I love your bracelet. Did you get your own letter put on too?  I want one 😀

    Great to hear from you.

  • Lovely to hear from you. I'm so happy about the result and just looking forward to what's to come.

Yeh I customised the letter to my initial,  I absolutely love it! Feel proud to wear it and it's nice to get something so beautiful from something so horrendous and some of the money goes to a fibromyalgia awareness charity too :) you should get one. it only cost me £15 well worth it to me!

    Soft hugs,

    Xx

  • I want to genuinely and sincerely wish you all the best of luck with your Fibro specialist. I also want to say that I really love your new bracelet as well. Please take care of yourself.

All my hopes and dreams for you

  • Hi, will be interested in hearing about your experiences with the Fibromyalgia and CFS Specialist is he/she a Consultant, and/or based at a Specialized Clinic?

    Lovely bracelet.

    Alice

  • Yeh he's a psychiatrist also and is based in a specialised clinic. I will keep you updated and let you know what happens/he advised

  • Hi Kayleigh, I hope you do not mind me saying and I'm unaware of your circumstances - but Fibromyalgia/CFS is not a psychiatric condition!  I urge you to look up the history of how Psychiatry became involved with CFS which does not actually belong to this branch of medicine.......

    Take Care, Alice

  • I don't mind at all. I know it's nothing to do with our condition he just also practices and specialises in psychiatry as well as working in the pain management clinic for fibro/CFS and i would never be a part of something I wasn't comfortable with or felt was completely irrelevant.  I've been told one two many times its all in my head and won't stand for it anymore

Thanks for the care and advice

  • That's a relief Kayleigh.......

I remain interested in your experience with pain management in the clinic.

    Well wishes with everything.
