If you dont know how to mediate then for this moment just sit quietly, get as comfortable as you can, breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth three times,release all your cares, concerns and worries ~ Place your hands on your lap palms up if you can... relax... and just focus on the flame...be with yourself... this is your time.
Meditation is a practised art of concentration to bring calm, peace & serenity ~ to journey within ones soul,in quietening the mind, the stillness within. Many forms & types of meditation exist, whether you are just a beginner or advanced, taking moments of quiet to still the mind is vital to our spirit being and life force ~ it is the means of transforming the mind which in turn aids the body and soul. According to Buddhism it is one of the most powerful & important relaxation techniques. Meditation is Universal and we can all access this wonderous "space" to cultivate our spiritual awareness, our physical presence to bring balance and harmony to the our whole self. It can be restorative, peaceful,enlightening, calming and helps to alieviate stress. Even five minutes a day can make a dramatic improvement on our well-being.
