omega 3: just a little note, been... - Fibromyalgia Acti...
omega 3
I don't a lot about omega 3 coops, are there any studies about it and fibro or pain?
let us know how you get on.
regards,
sandra.
Omega 3 is richly found in fish and walnuts and is full of anti-inflammatory properties. Additional benefits of Omega 3 include helping the symptoms of depression, hypertension and rheumatoid problems. They also help in encouraging the production of body chemicals that help in controlling inflammation and swelling in the joints and in the body’s tissues, so it is logical to think that Omega 3 could be beneficial to us if we have Fibromyalgia.
This is interesting and whilst I take Omega... Fibromyalgia is not cause any inflammatory conditions...so there should be no swelling in joints... this is from research and my own Dr. However the oils help to maintain good cognitive brain function and well being.. So whatever it does and if it helps then I am not knocking it... In fact... I feel like a rattle most days with supplements.. lol.. I wonder if there is a blood test that actually gives accurate results for all that is either missing or overloaded for required normal bodily function? Hugs xx
at leas they are not harmful my whole family take them. My wife for FM, me for joints when running, kids to support theirs development.
Quite right Ismc, taking Omega 3 won't harm us at all, in fact it can only benefit us generally.
I have started taking it again and I am feeling great at the moment I have one citalopram a day. and am feeling great. H
Have a good day all x
I too have been taking them for about 3 months (for my memory) my Dad told me & I've been taking Sage Leaf tablets aswell for excessive head, face & neck sweats which are not hormonal. They are now kicking in & it feels great to be able to do things without lookin like you've just stepped out of the shower.
Hugs

lovely to hear off you all xx
Hi, I also tried omega 3 capsules but constantly felt nauseous, after several weeks I stopped taking them and the nausea disappeared. So not suitable for me.
which omega 3 supplements, is good to take?
A recommended daily dose of 1000mg Omega 3 is considered best to take. A reputable health food/supplement shop is the best place to buy Omega 3 or any well known pharmacy.
Be careful when ordering supplements from the internet because we can never be sure of their authenticity. Hope this helps.
