Does anyone get severe pain in stomach after taking Co-codamol?

I've experienced severe stomach cramps when taking Co-codamol which can last for 10 mins or 30 minutes it is so bad I am doubled up and then it goes and my head feels funny then everything is ok. Thank you.

I have that pain if I take Co-codamol in tablet form but not if I take capsules,don't know why but it seems that a lots of people find it better taking capsules if they have a sensitive stomach

yes i have the capsules now ,they do tend to make me slightly constapated,yet i ran out of them for the last two days and had very loose bowels .gentle hugs

Becarefull when taking co codamol,I was addictive to them for around 5 years or so,only recently I came of them,as I've got morphin patches and cannot take co codamols again I used to take around 10/15 from 6pm until going to bed,it's the opium in the tablet it was the codeine I was addictive To and the paracetamol was bad for my liver,

I can't take them as they have the same effect on me.

I used to get like a rumbling pain when I took it. I think I'm used to it now. Eating usually helps though.

I never take them on an empty stomach, because they give me grief if I do.
