I have the date of my hearing, I've been waiting since January this year. I cried when I opened the letter this morning due to relief it's happening at last and to fear.
I'm so scared.
I don't know what they're going to ask me, do they examine me? How long does it last?
Please someone give me some positive advice

Hi Lucy. I`ve just been for my ESA appeal this morning and won. Right dont panic stay cool! No thye wont examine you at all. It will last about 40mins. They will ask you questions about you application form, and how your life was then at that time. If someone is representing you, make sure you go through your paper work too, as they can sometimes miss some points that are wrong. Also make some notes of things you have found wrong. Is this one for ESA or DLA? Sending you a hug and try not to worry. Ann xxx
i am waiting for my tribunal date for dla.. my welfare rights lady can not come with me as they have no funding for coming to court. i live in Kettering northamptonshire. you were very lucky that they came with you. i am bricking it. i have sent in loads of hospital reports. xx
I don't have this, please can you email me them to lucyweston05@yahoo.co.uk ASAP and thank you so much for your help, I'm very nervous, it means so much to me to use this time properly and not to get tongue tired.
im waiting for mine iv just apealed i cant believe they sent a doctor out and when we asked for his report he contradicted himself loads of times and twisted my answers and said i could do some of the wrist movements when i couldnt
No medical involved at tribunal but you should be sent to ATOS beforehand. I would suggest taking someone with you as witness or advocate for both. Get it over and done with. I wish you luck and pray for a tribunal panel (there are usually 3) who are human.
Remember however impartial they SAY they are they are also paid to reduce the govt welfare bill although they wont admit it.
Good luck and remember we are all here rooting for you
I only have a date for Tribunal and nothing else. This is for DLA but i'm working part time, i'm so scared i hope they are kind to me, frightened isn't even close to how i'm feeling. I am taking my husband with me who is also my carer.
