never heard of that before, it does seem odd. take someone with you next time, or you can insist on a nurse chaperone. you could discuss it with the PALS people at the hospital.

That is horrendous. He is so out of order I would complain. Like sandra says, take someone with you if you ever see him again. I know you will suffer for what he has done as I have bad knees. Hope you get some results soon XX

Thanks i have just made a complaint it was bad i tried to laugh it off as strange but when i have told people they also said it is terrible ,so see if PALS get back in touch with me and see what they think, hugs xAnne

Good for you. I had a rough medical years back and the doctor wrenched my knees around. It took weeks for them to just calm down. Your message brought back how awful it was and how you must be feeling. We are all here to support you. If you want to PM me that is fine too. Gentle hugs x

I have never heard of what happened to you before 1961, I'm quite shocked to be honest with you. What on Earth was the reason for him suggesting and then sitting on your foot! I am so pleased you reported this, it can't be right surely. It will be interesting to see what feedback you get from this.

Wishing you all the very best for your MRI scan, please let us know how you get on, take care. :)

As an (ex) nurse I believe that it is an ASSAULT to touch or "examine" anyone who refuses. A refusal would also be understood if you were screaming in pain - surely? I am appalled by this and am so glad you have reported this sadist. As a patient you have the right to refuse treatment, exams or an invasive procedure whether it is causing you pain, or not. This is your basic human right. Please re-post here to let us know how you get on with your complaint... but don't hold your breath!! :-( One thing I DO know is how the medical profession all close ranks and that is from personal experience.

Gentle hugs. xx

Dunno about PALS - I'd seriously think about going to the Police, how dare he sit on you and make you scream with pain? If that happened anywhere else it would clearly be assult and arrests would be made.

I thought it was in your dream, something like a nightmare. By the way; ALL the complaint procedures twisted trapped ambushed to cower up!!!! Good luck.
