I had borrowed a TENs machine from my mother [wouldn't recommend without consultation with doctor and having instructions!] There were no instructions and I had mentioned it to my doctor but he did not mention any problem as I do have epilepsy, although controlled.

I will talk to my doctor again, but I think, after checking out the link above, I really ought to have my own. It did work for me, especially when I kept have back spasms. They have gone at the moment, which is lucky as my mother has taken it back!

I understand advice can be got from your physio? She may even be able to help me find the right places to put the pads or even have one I can try!

hi i first used one ten years ago a friend lent me one as i was in so much pain it was very good as i was at the end of my theather i then went out and got myself one invalueable hope this helps x
