Diddle like wise it is so hard and i so wish i could of stayed home, which i thought i could of after the night i had suffering with such bad tummy cramps and pain from my bits to my chest alll the way up and was sweating and my head awoke me 1st, but luckily i was able to get up this morning and carry on the daily duties of running work, but it has got to stage i have to take the back seat from the job i love so much!

on a wkend i barely do anything!! pj's and laptop lol.. but i do wan to venture out but soon as i do i come back home huh because the outside world just seems too much now adays it is frustrating, but i am glad i run my work because in honesty i would seize up and make myself worse! i know i wont beable to really go much longer (well id ont think so) as even the driving with the clutch is a chore :-( ..

I cannot believe how many of us have the same things it is unreal but i am so glad i have found somewhere whre everyone understands !! ..i thank you alll for being so luvlie xx i am so rough today aswell and had a very hectic and a bit sad of a day too and be glad when tomoro comes xx

Re the 'Melissa' blood test that is down to allergies to metals as i have titanium over my hernia mesh which during op they messed up and i had nerve wrapped around screws 2 wk later back in thetre i was so so ill!! anyways it is for my piece of mind because if you dont ask!! you dont get anywere... I had a titanium belly piercing when i was 40 and it got really infected had mega fatigue and stomache troubles (i have been complaining ever since) now its too late as things gone too far!! but i enquired at doctors to see if i could have one andthy never heard of it and so may have to do privately ..but she will enquire for me as its new one to her ...

But thanks guys soooo sooo much for replies and hope you alll have some relief tomoro if weather a bit better xxxxxxxxxxx

Hi,

Regarding the titanium, which doctors say that no one is allergic to it, I am! I had a titanium plate put in my forehead after I had MRSA following brain surgery. Ten days later they had to remove it as I was allergic to it! I too had a titanium belly piercing go wrong as in it 'grew out'.

It is definitely worth checking if you are allergic to it. I felt so ill with the plate, feeling so sore, headachy, sick, lethargic (even more than normal) and I really couldn't concenrate on anything as well as having one side of my face really swollen so that my eye was closed!

I wish you all the luck in finding the answer to this problem.

Hi Marion! Wow poor you sometimes they just do not listen when yu say you are allergic to things!

YOU obviously knew your body and knew it was not rite and how it made you feel. we do not make these things up!!!

my belly piercing was really nasty all infected and the suffering whilst i was away in spain was so tired and ill and feeling sick.. when to a tattoe shop who said needed removing straight away!

When going for pre op which i have had 2 hernias now one open surgery and this was laparoscopy, on the pre op i was asked if allergic to anything..

1. Anti-inflamatorys suffer severe stomach problems and ill bed ridden with them

2 Metals .

3 Aspirin

. I was not even told i was having this put in until it had happend and straight away on wakening i said i was not right, he said the Titanium was perfectly safe!! sent home next day and after 2 wks on Doctors and hospital phonecalls telling them i was not right i could barely get to the loo!! it took me being rushed in hospital on entinox nearly 2 wks later. to be x rayed etc etc nothing found! i ended i just demanded they got me looked at i would be permanantely in a wheelchair.. went back to theatre there was nerves wrapped in the screws 5 had to be removed , this is where i have never been the same since life has changed i have been back and forth demanding something be done!! finally surgeon agreed to endoscopy just to check for ulcers 1st i said its not that but ok in meantime waiting appointment my neck went and so it did 3 times over 2 months.. leading to how i am now.. i have been ping ponged and now i am told it is farrrr tooo late to take the titanium out as it would cause more damage because it is 2yrs on. Hence why i want a 'Melissa' blood test as i am hoping this WILL prove what i am telling them is right.. I know my body and i know exactly how i have been since nerve severed had the hug and leg weakness, vision problems electric shocks, tingling, numbness, white fingers etc etc but MS has been ruled out but having a brain scan now jsut to check!!

I will go as far as need be if i am correct. I will make everyone aware of it but fingers crossed all is ok and time has just said its my turn to feel this rotten day in day out lol..

thankyou for your reply and it is so interesting to hear other people give their stories as i think we are just numbers!! and that we are just phsycologically imagining it ..............so not!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

hi Christine thanks for that ..i actually just looked up titanium allergies etc as i am determined to find the answer since i had a piercing that got infected and was ill with it and i have titanium holding the mesh over hernia, so i been doing as much research and asked the doctors today..she was very suprised and is now going to take a look into it aswell for me aswell.. its a family history on my dads side metal allergies xx hope you are ok today xx
