I have just had my DLA reinstated for personal care, but have been refused mobility. I used to get lower rate mobility before do you think it is worth appealing or should I just be happy that I have won the case for the personal care?
Should I appeal: I have just had my DLA... - Fibromyalgia Acti...
Should I appeal
Thats a bit of a bummer for you, difficult to know what to do though as Lynn says. All the best to you whatever decision you come to. Love Angela xx
hi yhat is a shame but like lynne says you dont want to lose the one you have been awarded but i dont think they will take the other one away once it has been awarded but it may pay you to call them and say thankyou and although you are happy witht the result of one you wish to appeal against the other one and would it effect the one you have been awarded then see whay they say
love to you diddle and good luck
Thanks for the replies. I think what I will do is ring to say thank you and ask at the same time why the mobility was not awarded.
I don't want to risk losing what I have.
Thanks again you have helped me make my mind up I appreciate it.
Love to you all.
this is a great site worth every penny, check it out benefitsandwork.co.uk/
YES YES YES ALWAYS APPEAL
I have worked with people with health issues for many years and the advice I have always had is appeal as far as you possibly can and remember Wright down how you are at your worst also Wright down the side affects of your meds and never go to a medical alone
DebzP I'm now on my 2nd form to ATOS im very much hopin not to have to go for yet another assesment. On my last 1 that i had back in May i did ask for a report and some of the things they said were unreal. For instance in one line it read "She wasnt rocking in her chair" What the hell does that mean????? and it said that "I looked ok " so if i have to attend another for this new claim i shall be a rocking in my chair, walkin about, wearing odd shoes and dribbling down my chin!!!!!!!. For any1 appealing Good Luck and Keep Trying xxx
