still not good had some accupuncture today waiting for it to start taking affect maybe it wont this time ,got a stinking headache aswell ,needed a moan luv to u all xx

dont forget to drink loads of water after acupuncture or you will end up with a serious headache. I found it worked more or less straight away then wore off over the next few days. They tried all different needle placements with me and some worked better than others. Mention it next time and they should adjust it for you.

hi i agree with christine i have never had accupuncture but a friend of mine did and you do ha pursevere with it good luck anyway love diddle x

If you'r getting the acupuncture on the NHS then I would persevere. I was very lucky 20 years ago to get a lot of free acupuncture as well as Chinese Herbs and I would say it was the main factor that put my CFS/Fybro into remission for about 14 years.

I don't know what type of training your acupunturist has had or where they are based but there are different types of acupuncture and some work better than others. To be blunt too, anybody can do the training but some people are better at it than others so don't be afraid to ask to see a different one if after a few more sessions you are still not getting much benefit.

thanx christine i dont have caffeine anyway ,i had 4 on NHS then i have to pay for anymore that i want its 15pnds which isnt bad ,im feeling better today i think its kicked in now im booked in for another session on 30th and she is goin to try and get it that maybe i only need to go every 4 to 5 weeks . luv tofty xx

You're spot on. The wonderful guy who ran that NHS clinic ran it like a community clinic too - the way they do in China. He went to China every year to keep learning and lived the whole phylosophy. My life would be completely different if I was still able to see him but up here in Fife I haven't found anybody who is any good that I can afford!
