Fed up

Not been given a diagnosis but GP has ruled out all other obvious causes.

I feel like I wake up with a new area of my body in pain. My memory is dreadful and I would love to feel energised !

How long did it take you to get a diagnosis ?

Ten years on with all over body pain, sudden tiredness, iBs, weird burning lips or feet or head, crap memory etc and no formal diagnosis-although newest doc has suggested fibro and put me on Gabapentin for pain with good success. Just referred to rheumatologist for increased IBs and tiredness.

I was lucky and diagnosed after twelve months by a neurologist. Hope you get answers soon. I know it's very hard but try to stay positive. Every day you will be a closer to diagnosis. Wishing you good luck X

Sounds so familiar. It took ages - years - to eliminate all the other things. Stay with it, and take encouragement from the fact that the other tests haven't revealed anything horrible.

We're all with you

Chris that’s a good point -if blood works show nothing sinister it is one positive to focus on 👍🏼

It took me 10 years. But back in the day most if any specialists or doctors had even heard of it so not surprising. I have had for 30+years. Have to be honest having the diagnosis as not made any difference one way or the other. I'm suffering the same way as I was 30 yrs ago :( worse in fact.
