hi all. ive got the d.l.a. for 3 yrs in february, so i went for the car..ive now been had for this new thing for incapacity and d.l.a...awaiting for the pack of forms to come...[any day now.]..if i loose do i loose the car to........im dreading it i cant get out of the flat without it......thanx all...best wishes to you all..xxxxx

if you loose ur high rate mobility yes you do loose your car honey.... it happened to my friend... get ur pack sent back asap... but u get to keep ur car for a month after ur mobility stops... sorry this is not the answer u want xxx

O NOOOOOOOOOOOOO gods sake, i waiting for me pack to come, do you recomend it goes bk right away or take my time and fill it in more and right.....instead of rushing it.......what did yr freind do if you dont mind me asking.. thanx for replying..xx

right i know my heads all over the place....i was refused dla for 3 yrs but i carried it on till in the end i got it. but 1 yr cause they backdated it me a yr...., they gave me the money and i had the car....so for 1 yr only i had the car , it ran out april 12 this yr. but i was sent the forms 6mnth before, i filled them in and sent it off in jan this yr,.... they gave me another 3 yrs,from april this yr............. so i got to keep the car i have dla now for 3 yrs....i have now been sent a leter saying ive got change to this e.s.a.....as i am also on incapacity.[ i get low rate care and high rate mobility with d.l.a..]..and incapacity benifit......im thinking im going be taken off it all and sent the job cenetre......i canot be without the car, or the incapacity benift for that mater, it pays all my prescriptions.........i wonderd if i get kicked off, do i loose the car.....im sorry but i dont understand all this e.s.a thing...i keep reading about it on here, but its going in one ear and out the other one.......

Hi Ginge, DLA and incapacity are two seperate benefits. It is the DLA that gives you the car and does not affect any other benefits so you will keep the car until the award finishes. Incapacity benefit is like a sickness benefit and is being replaced by ESA, everyone who receives IB will eventually transfer to ESA.

if you have been given dla for 3 years then you keep the car,esa is replacing incapacity,no problem. stop panicing, i have just lost my dla and car because they say they sent a renewel form out last sept, i did not receive the form so on 12 feb they stoppted my money and friday my car goes i live in the country with no transport no way to get meds or pain clinic, they messed up i get to suffer for it,i feel so sick with the thought of being stranded, sorry!!! im waffleing. you have no worries ginge.take care you, gentle hugs.

o mary thats terable.....cant you go the citizens advise and try get it back, its there fault not yrs, im sure that could help you...if not you must put in for it again and put a letter in it explaining about the renewal not turning up........im so sorry please let me know how you gat on.......and a very soft squeeze off me........xxxx

I have already sent the forms back 3 weeks ago only to be told that instead of renewal they are starting from the beginning so its two fingers up to me, ill let you know how it goes,i wish they would do this to people who are screwing the dla instead of real disabled people, don't mind me im so angry and after 3 heart attacks maybe not a good thing to be....

o bloody ell....the tossers yr right there i know people who do that.my son has m.s. and he had a friend that got diognosed with m.s also adam had already had it for about 10yrs by then[ adam is my son] his mate had very mild m.s. he filled all the forms in with all my sons syptoms ,who has it quite bad.........he got full dla and carers everything.my son just gets low rate care and high mobility........i was that mad i reported him.i have never never never reported anyone ever for anything...but to use my son and his symptoms to get himself everything is well bad...........as you can guese they are not friends now.............its bad thay gave him the high and my son whos had ms since he was 20 and hasnt got a good life is digusting.......did you put a letter in the forms saying what hapend ,and the renewel didnt come through.......and you can have a rave anytime to me when you feel like it......i go in a temper then when i calm down all the syptons kick in........im sure yr the same..........so feet up nice big mug of tea and a good film for you..........xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

so im fighting for the incapcity not d.l.a then??????? please say yes...........it said on the leter i got anyone on d.l.a. or incapacity or income surport...........so i thought it affected my dla and incapacity.....

ive just looked at the leter agin, it says incapacity income surport or a disability.......not d.l.a .....im hoping yr right...thank you so much...........just the esa to fight now then....just as i thought i would have at least 1 yr free of forms..ahhhhhh!!!!
