DLA forms noooooo

My lovely postman has just posted me my dla forms and god knows why but i have two.

I am dreading writing it all out i just hope the lovely lady from ME northwest will sort it for me.

I just know that this is a start of a long fight.

good luck....i got turned down...waiting for my appeal they say that am fit enough to work...doing what i don't know ...can't sit for to long...can't stand for to long...can't use my hands for to long....and they say am fit....i wish they could have my body for just 2 hours and then say i can work....

am lucky i got a understanding hubby now...he does most of the housework...if he didn't i would be a lot worse...

Its disgusting that they think that we dont deserve something to help us.

I dont go anywhere on my own and my partner is struggling, working and looking after me kids and house its not fair. ohh and me lol.

The amount of meds i need just to get out of bed is not normal but they treat us like we are normal, sorry bit of a rant lol.

I understand they are fakers out there but all they need to do is send me to a medical with a proper gp and they will see.

I tried to apply last year when i just had fibro and got turned down and my gp told me to hang and now i have multiple things wrong so hopefully i will get it this time.

Its good you have an understanding hubby as i suppose it is hard for them too, mine is ok generally but i get ratty with him and i cant help it.

same here thank goodness my husband is like yours and he gets exhausted too with trying to run the business and home.

Hi at least you have two so if you make a mistake you can use the other one lol ,

im just waiting for them to look again at my application, ill probably have to appeal, GRRRRR it makes me so mad all this beurocracy , good luck xx

I have a lady comming to help me from the ME clinic as i now have ME too, and she does these forms day in day out so hopefully it will help.

I had mine stopped when they reviewed as they said I can now turn over in bed without help and cook a meal for one...so where does that leave my husband and 88 year old mum who lives with us. Trouble is they should see me now!

HI mazzle, i am so sorry you had yours stopped its terrible isnt it.

I cant turn over in bed and my partner does most of the cooking when i am really bad (i cant afford takeaways, but thats what we would eating if it was up to him)lol.

My sister gets all the money going for depression and i know it can be bad but she does nothing to help herself and sits on a computer allday and its just not fair as she gets a fortune and i got turned down last year i was so mad.

I hope you get it sorted soon good luck.

We are running a pony rides and party business and i have to work as much as I can but a couple of busy days and I am out of it. Got to do it to boost lost pensions now we are retired. I have someone 20 years younger than me with fibro and she sits on her backside all day doing nothing and gets all the benefits but i have seen her when she doesnt think anyone is around and boy can she party!

I know how you feel hun,it's discusting how they treat us,yet people who state they have a bad back and yet seem to rally around doing gardening etc or similar situations get everything,makes me soooo cross GRRRRR.

Hi Jazher hun

I wish you well in your fight and take your time in answers,make sure you answer as if each day is your worst and all meds your on,specialists you have seen and who diagnosed you,i got ripped into in tribunal last week and omg what a nightmare,try not to let it stress you out too much,CAB are very good with these type of forms hun,i had a benefits officer from my local housing do mine,not that it got me anywhere LOL.

I must admit I have been in the greenhouse this afternoon and put in some seeds as I cant expect my husband to do it all with 13 ponies, 14 labradors and chickens and ducks and mother to look after and now I am cream crackered but it had to be done. He is at the stables cleaning the fields and I just had to get out in the air for a while.
