I find Tamaris fantastic they are made by a German company you can buy on line, need to buy the ones with the shock absorber in the heel.

Apparently fly foot shoes are good too although mine haven't arrived yet. If you look on pavers shoes on the internet or channel 659 on sky you can see them. I'm trying them this year cos they're half the price of hotters.

Good Luck

I love my Karrimor walking boots. I usually live in trainers and I would always get sore feet and ankles when walking in town let along in a field or park. I think it was the arete 2 style I got (they look the same) they are very comfy and supportive. Ive managed to walk all round town without any pain in my feet. I can even manage some outdoor walking in them ;o)
