Morning all, if you remember I had a home assessment in October, this was abandoned because of extreme panic attack.
Had a F2F on 29 December , wasn't to bad, I have now received the HP report, and can honestly say she didn't deviate from my answers or made any assumptions .
I have received a progress report saying " they are sorry it's taking a long time, but now have all my info"
I have been reading that the " decision maker can change the decipher scores!!!!
So what I really would like to know from you lovely people, is this so and how long will I now have to wait for a decision ,
Regards

Oh thank you so much for your reply I really appreciate , I have phoned to chase up, but they are very rude, honestly, I actually asked the lady why her attitude was so abrupt , she changed when I said this!!!
Honestly it's their job to advise, not make you feel like you shouldn't be claiming benefits!!!
Yes a agree they can be helpfiul in your call...the pip some will give info to how long it will be...but they are changing sum guidelines for end january..so fone now...if i were youxx good luck
Yes I did stand my ground, I started to panic!! Felt like I was being told off for asking a " stupid question" but I soon realised its not stupid wanting to know if they had come to a decision .
Hi when they had received all my info for pip it was assed in the time criteria of 6 weeks it will be back dated if you win to the date of your application ,
Good luck .
Hugs
Chris
P.s perhaps
You could contact Janet our benifit so advice person here ,
I'm so sorry for the delay. I hope this is the number that Chris wanted me to give to you. I only started as Admin on Monday so am still learning the ropes.
Hello, my daughter in law has added my points on my PIP form ( I hadn't realised I could do this )
Daily living scored 19
Mobility scored 16
But after reading some stories I am now aware the DWP can change the HP deciphers ,
Oh well we will see... This has been going on since August when I first completed my claim form, the anxiety and stress this has put me through is unbearable, but we are all the same, it's a terrible way to have to live and wait for a decision 😟
Good luck with the decision . The assessor does not make the actual decision about whether you will get PIP or not they just make the recommendation to the DWP who make this final decision.
Hope it all goes in your favour and you get a decision soon.x
