I have moved a couple of weeks back to SA1 and I'm now out of my doctor's area. He is good and we are pretending that I've said nothing for now but I need to find one that is fibro friendly. Any advice welcome.

Anyone in Swansea with a good Doctor? Is there a doctors list?
My GP is really good but she is in SA4 area so don't think you'd be able to join that surgery?! Sorry! Hope you find one soon x
Thank you very much.
RhiRhi I have just moved from SA6. It is like being on holiday here in the new area so far. Except no close doctors or NHS dentist yet.
Chris. Great to have that link. I will check it right away.
Oh no. The link is for the USA. I'll search for similar in the UK
I have always wanted to do something along these lines, but never got many recommendations through the website. Would it be helpful if I started a blog that people could add recommendations to?
Hi Lindsey
Sorry to take so long. Migraines won't stop this week.
There is one on FMUK but it is old and small with only a couple in Wales.
I think that would be a great idea. The doctor I leave can be first. He does not know a great deal, but, has learned from me over the past 7 years and changes my meds as I learn more. If I am too sick but need something he lets me leave a message and gets back to me. Then puts a prescription ready for me if needed. He has been very supportive especially before I had a diagnosis. He even called me at home to offer his support after a specialist called me lazy. Good news is he is now the head doctor at the practice which makes it a fibro friendly practice. Dr H Tomos. New Cross Surgery, Sway Road, Morriston SA6 Tel:01792 771419
Best of luck. Any help I can be just ask xx
We used to have a really good Dr/Gp called Dr Neary, He left our surgery in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire because he lived in Derbyshire.
He was the best Dr we ever had so if he is working in Derbyshire & anyone lives local to that area seek him out he is really good.
I hope you find a good Dr Fiona & good luck to others
I think I will do some web research and see what I get. Once this migraine stops. It's so much worse as my sinus are bleeding. I really don't want thrush so no antibiotics this time
I really think it would be an idea to make a list of good doctors. I'm looking for one In Didcot or Abingdon Oxfordshire if anyone can help please
It would be a good idea to message Lindsey(above) to see if she did start compiling anything.
I asked someone to call around local doctors for me. 1/ See if they were taking patients. 2/ Ask about Fibro support.
Fair plays she asked and we found one doctor initially insulted, then very pleased that I was taking my condition seriously? Do they think we're having fun.
Any way. Through being bold I have found a supportive doctor.
Try for yourself or maybe it is better to get someone else if like me you get foggy so quickly and forget your own name. Best of luck
