I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia back in 2007. I have recently been told by the pain clinic to join support groups. Is there any here in Plymouth Devon. It would be nice to meet people who have the same daily struggles as me and swap stories and tips.

Is there a support group in Plymouth, devon?
Hi Claire, if you go to our mother site, fibroaction.org there is a section there which shows all the support groups across the country. Being a fellow Devonian (east of Honiton) I have looked and here is the list :
DEVON
Cullompton Fibro Support Group
East Devon Fibromyalgia Support Group
Teignmouth & Bishopsteignton Fibro Support Group
So I think the answer is no, but perhaps you might be able to start one up, that would be a really good and positive way to help both you and others with Fibro. Only you know whether it would be something you could cope with.
Sending lots of positive vibes your way

Hi ClaireR86
I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Just in case you haven't found one from our Foggy, I have pasted you a link to another group directory. I want to wish you all the best with finding a suitable group.

Hi Ken
No problem, Ken.
Regarding the support group, it's not for everyone.. I stopped going( may go back at some point) as my anxiety levels seemed to worsen when I did.. And the meet up is 10 - 12.. Mornings not good for me!
Take care

Hi I feel for you as I suffer with Chronic Fatigue also. I struggle to get out of bed in the mornings like you do or then don't wake up for the alarms though I have 3 alarms set to wake me up.
Hence I only attend the fibrogroup here and there.
I would also love to find a group which meets up in the afternoons.
If you woul like to " chat" on e mail initially, here is my address.. Millywillow@icloud.com
Best Wishes
Wendy
