bizarre knee pain

Hi several times over the last couple of days I have had a sensation almost of my knee cap moving out of place to the side but no pain as such just very uncomfortable to walk but very tender below my knee cap if pressed - it is a very very strange sensation - has anyone else experienced anything similar

yep my knee caps r very tender i cannot kneel at all my knees r also very weak andso i walk slowly and they feel like any moment they will give in. im very careful on stairs im terrified they will give in wen im goin up or down stairs . luv tofty xxx

hiya,

i have the most terrible trouble standing up,my knees don't seem to want to take my weight,they hurt a lot through the day and at night i have to stretch my body backwards(kind of like a fetal position in reverse),i think it started with the restless legs when i tried to lay down at night,it's so frustrating,the doctor gave me some ibroprophin gel(sorry i can't spell it...lol) to put on my knees,but theres no affect,the pain's still there,niggling at me every day,i wish i could give you some good advice but im still looking for that myself...but just know this.... we're in this together,your'e not on your own xx

Hi my knees do ache and i get like pains in themsort of shooting pains that dart about inside my knee awful isnt it no end to the things we have with fibro love to you diddle x

my knees are agony, they hurt all the time and when i am standing for any period they burn, my left is the worst, but i have hypermobility syndrome as well so it can be that or fibro who knows lol.

I tend to get a feeling like my knee is twisting, which is painful and I also get like what I can only describe as a dull tooth ache type pain in my knees, which usually then spreads up my thigh muscles. i normally do some pilates or othetr kind of stretching/ exercise to ease the pain x
