I have thick hair, though not as thick as it was, but I find that once it gets to a certain length I get dull headaches . Keeping my hair shorter means I never have headaches. Thoght that might be worth considering if you have long hair that may be dragging on the base of your skull without you noticing.

Yes, I can't tie my hair up when I have a migraine or headache!
Wise words and very true....my hair is chin length, any longer it hurts and there is no way I could wear it up!!!
At work I had to wear it up and my god, but the end of a shift my head was pounding!!...hence I cut it off!!! xx
I'm so pleased my thought wasn't wierd. Thanks for your comments
Euni, I've never thought that my hair may contribute to my migraines & headaches, though I have so many triggers I don't think this is the cause of the majority of them. Main triggers for me are hormonal, fatigue, travel, stress and too many meds. But I also discovered that tying my hair up is a trigger for them (if I'm vulnerable to one) whereas other days I can tie it up and it's OK.
My hair is very thick and long, but on the plus side I feel the cold massively and my hair keeps me warm!
